Emily is an up and coming architect, so their pick for a ceremony at the MIT Chapel was perfect! The chapel was designed by famed architect Eero Saarinen. The cylindrical shape is intended to meet the needs of all faiths. The MIT Chapel is such a super cool setting. It gives off a very dramatic vibe.

The wedding was coordinated by Karen Hyde of Great Beginnings Events. The day in Boston couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was shinning and the couple was on cloud nine. Guests were treated to an amazing reception. This venue was so much fun to work at!

Exchange Conference Center

We created a stunning backdrop with wedding lighting. The lighting highlighted the venue. Emily and Mike’s Wedding reception was a masterpiece. Guests were in awe of the light up cocktail tables that framed the bay windows. The windows overlooked the beautiful Boston Harbor. The effect made the reception look fun! Our collection of lighting coupled with the amazing band set the mood. Everyone danced the night away and did not want it to end. We felt so happy to provide The Exchange Conference Center Wedding Uplighting and we hope to get the opportunity to do it again!

Before showing you the final images, I would love to show you our before images. You can see how bare the space was. The floor plan allowed us to become very creative and use our imagination to set the tone.

Before

Once the event start and guests saw the room, we left some people pretty breathless. The guests were treated to a feast of the eyes. The paper lanterns and light up pillars made guests feel they were in an intimate setting. Setting the tone for this amazing networking party really allow people to feel comfortable and mingle.

AFTER

The Boston Corporate Consulting Firm created a multi day event that we were able to highlight. The event was photographed by Karako Chalko Photography. Guests were treated to Max Catering yet because of the mood we set guests did not want to leave. Our paper lanterns were a huge hit! We were recently given the opportunity to film a wedding at Wychmere Beach Club. Claudia and David were recently married on Saturday October 27, 2012 at the majestic Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich, Ma. It was a breathtaking beautiful day with no signs that Hurricane Sandy was coming up the shore days later. Boston Event Films was honored to capture this magical day for Claudia and David. We wanted to share a sneak peak into their special day.

The ceremony was located on the lawn of Wychmere Beach Club, overlooking the beautiful harbor. The sun started to set low as their beautiful canvas while musician Tom Pendergast entertained guests with his artistry. Tom performed through out the ceremony adding a beautiful acoustic instrumental version of “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by The Beach Boys. The ceremony was magical for Claudia and David.

During the cocktail hour, Tom Pendergast entertained guests with an amazing jazz quartet. It was simply timeless. Guests mingled and enjoyed the smooth jazz while Claudia and David were taking some amazing candid shots with Holly Redmond Photography. The reception hour was a fun change of atmosphere. The talented DJ David Natola of Sound Decision kicked things up with some great beats. Guests were up on their feet feeling the music. Everyone danced the whole night long as the end of a beautiful day came to a close at Wychmere Beach Club. Ending with the gleam and shine of a perfect beautiful moonlight for a beautiful couple. Congratulations to Claudia and David from all of us at Boston Event Films!

The evening started with religious hymns echoing between the columns. We enhanced the ethereal feeling with custom amber,candlelight colors that light up the columns and framed the stained glass windows. Everyone was entertained with the singing talents of Michael Macomber.

Once the opening acts were completed, Boston Event Lighting and DJ Paul kicked things up with “Welcome to the Jungle”! Guests were thrilled to see the change of pace as we also kicked up some bright colors to keep the momentum going. The guest list was a buffet of amazing professionals in and around the Boston area. Guests were surprised by a special guest from the birthday boy, the talented and amazingly dressed Christopher Fijal of Jacques Cabaret.

Everyone had a great time jamin’ to Boston Event Lighting and DJ Paul and feeling the beats with the lights. The crowd was adorned with costume hats from The Village People for a rendition of “YMCA” and “Macho Man”.

Once appetizers and dinner was complete, there was a feast of cupcakes and various candies. Boston Event Lighting and DJ Paul got the crowd going with some classic tunes from the 70′s and 80′s along with current club hits from The B52s to Britney Spears. Overall a successful event! We were please to have shared in such a great event. We want to wish a Happy Birthday to James Conforti from all of us at Boston Event Lighting & DJ!
